Welcome to Khmer!

image17[1]2.jpg

Cambodia and Khmer are all names combined with a single Asian civilization famous for its art and architecture. Kambuja is a Sanskrit name of the modern country of Cambodia.       Kampuchea , a modern vision of the name, was part of the official title of the country as recently a 1989.

European transliterations of Kambuja become Cambodia in English and Cambodge in French, that is the name of this south-east Asian country today.

The capital city of Cambodia is Phnom Penh, located in the southern part of the country, The citizens are Khmers or Cambodians; the national language is Khmer; and in the past the country has also been called Khmer too.
